In class we continued to review the multiple choice section of the AP exam.  We completed the 2014 multiple choice and ironed out some of the misconceptions students are having at this time.

After going over the answers to the 2013 Part II part of the AP exam, students worked on Part I of the 2014 exam.  I will give you time in class to finish the exam before going over.

In class students went over the practice quiz on chi-squared tests.  Afterwards, students reviewed how to calculate linear regression and interpret statistics related to the regression (ex. r, r-squared).

Review - Chi-Squared Tests

In class students reviewed chi-squared tests for goodness-of-fit, homogeneity, and independence.  Students should now be able to complete a hypothesis test for each, state an appropriate conclusions and check the standardized residuals if necessary.

Chi-Squared Test for Independence

In class students learned how to conduct a chi-squared test for independence which is similar to the process used for the chi-squared test for homogeneity.
